 1.Psychological Guidance

Milton Erickson used to say : "Have you ever noticed that every blade of grass is a different green?" .And it is on that precise variation of colours that psychology intends to work on. Acknowledging we are unique, psychology brings together our similarities while prospecting our differences.

Besides better understanding of the human mind, psychology’s main goal is to lead people toward greater well-being, while walking on an unknow path that leads to a better self-understanding in an empathic setting.

Psychological counselling is an easy and comfortable way to reach global and specific changes and a safety and caring space of their own.  Psychological guidance also offers tools for different issues such as the stress and dealing with changes, emotions. Psychological guidance can help you to improve your life quality, sometimes it will be answering psychological questions for you and/or relatives.

Who has never heard or said "Why can't I do it by myself? Why am I in trouble? ». SECO currently estimates that 18% of the swiss population suffers from average to severe psychological distress. While only 9% of the population get treatment for psychological illness there is still a large part of the 18%  who do not receive the help they need.

It means you are not the only person who have issues dealing with psychological difficulties. Sadly, the shyness that often comes with the procedure of seeking for help is very common. Yet a psychological support would give you a chance to reach a greater well-being, self understanding and to work on your issues in the hope to learn how to act with kindness toward yourself.

Psychological support can be helpful if you or a relative are suffering from a clinical disorder. You can also contact me if you encounter problems managing certain aspects of your life, problems related to your personal and/or professional life, or for personal development work.  The psychological counselling will use tools from the different approaches as well as hypnosis if you choose so.

2. Ericksonian Hypnosis

Ericksonian hypnosis, named from its creator Milton Erickson, is a non-directive approach that creates bonds between our conscious and non-conscious processes. Ericksonian hypnosis does not focuses on your disabilities or difficulties. The main task is to enlighten the resources already present in you. You will be able to work not only on your conscious thoughts but also on our unconscious behaviour, thoughts. The thoughts you cannot grasp and are the result of many repeated experiences and are deeply embeed in us.

The goal is to recreate a bond between this part and the one central to our mind: our expectations and life targets which are sometimes blocked by unconscious processes. By initiating a free speech between these two parts, you can access quickly a better well-being and implement lasting changes.

Adults have limited time due to their obligations. Hypnosis management responds to this by making it possible to work easily and quickly on well-defined problems. One of the obstacles to seeking support is the fear that it will become long-lasting. However, hypnosis can prevent this with an average duration of five sessions and maximum of 10 sessions, or more in very exceptional cases.

Hypnosis also makes it possible to work with the younger ones, giving that it does not required long talks. If the child or the teenager struggles to put words on what they feel, hypnosis can help them start to initiate a change more easily. Moreover, for the younger as for the elder it does not require any work between sessions and it can be used anywhere without any equipment.

For example, hypnosis can help you in different cases such as: pain management, weight problems, self-confidence, stress and emotion management, phobia, etc.

Hypnosis sessions can be used as a complement to psychological guidance or alone.
